‘n Blom vir Elke Vrou Exhibition was a collaboration that started when Petronel Baard first reached out to SCAVA in early 2024 to explore the possibility of working together. Her dedication to bringing her art to life through multiple forms of expression was truly inspiring.

Petronel brought such energy and vision to this project. She, her talented and extremely capable orchestra led by Franco Engelbrecht, and members of the award-winning and world known South Cape Children's Choir of the renowned musician and choirmaster Jan-Erik Swart, guided the audience through a unique experience on the opening evening 15 November, blending music with the art on the walls, with their performance of the production ‘n Blom in Elke Vrou.

Petronel Baard is a renowned South African musician, composer, and performer with an impressive CV. ‘n Blom in Elke Vrou is very dear to Petronel’s heart and working with her on this project for SCAVA, had been an absolute pleasure. Her dedication, hard work, and vision had truly made this exhibition something extraordinary.

This exhibition was a celebration of the strength and resilience of women, but also of mankind, and a tribute to the endless potential that blooms within every one of us and our inner journey and seasons. This exhibition ran throughout the holiday season and ended on 23 January 2025.
